     Note. Yaschik Pandory (Pandora's Box) cave located in Khakasia, 4 km from the village of Malaja Syja. Depth 180m, length 10km. Difficulty degree: 3B (Soviet system)

     Trip happened just after May holidays. There were four people or to be exact – diggers. The whole thing went smoothly enough, however, we didn't do all what we planned. So we had to return one more time. Well, at least it was according to our tradition. We made it to the bottom ("Forgotten by the God" passage), made sure on the way down that the "Dlinnoe" ("Long") lake still does exists. And it is still on the "Nevsky Prospekt". Finally we paid a visit to the upper part of the cave, and that was about it. Therefore, a trip to the part of the cave beyond the lake was postponed until the next time. That next tine happened pretty soon though, August 2000 - Digger's Bottom.
